Questions about payment
Is it really free to use Popin?
Yes. Downloading Popin, creating an account, swiping, Map Match, direct messages and your free daily video-call minutes are all free and need no payment method. Nothing essential is locked behind a paywall.
Why don't you show exact prices here?
Because they differ by country and change with exchange rates. The app shows the exact price in your local currency before you confirm anything, so what you see is what you pay — no surprises at checkout.
Can I cancel Gold?
Yes, any time, through your app store subscription settings. You keep Gold until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it will not renew.
Do I lose my credits if I cancel?
No. Credits and packs you have bought are yours. If you cancel Gold, you drop back to the free daily allowance and any remaining credits stay on your account.
How do you handle payments?
Payments are processed by Google Play. Popin never sees or stores your card details — that is handled entirely by the store.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own policy. Request one through your purchase history in the Play Store and it will be reviewed there.
