Yes. Downloading and creating an account are free, and you get daily Hearts and free video-call minutes. If you want more — more credits, more minutes, or Popin Gold — you can buy them, but nothing on the core experience is behind a paywall.
Who can use Popin?
Popin is for adults aged 18 and over. You need an email address or a Google account to sign up, and we ask for your date of birth so we can keep the community age-appropriate.
Which languages does Popin support?
Eleven: English, Arabic, French, Spanish, Hindi, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese, Turkish, German and Italian. The app switches automatically to your device language.
How do video calls work?
When you and someone else match, you can start a private 1-to-1 video call from the chat. Every member gets free minutes each day, and you can add more minutes or switch to unlimited calls if you use it a lot.
How do you keep the app safe?
Photos are screened automatically, profile photos go through a face-detection check, and every member has one-tap Report and Block. Reported accounts are reviewed by our moderation team. The full detail is on the Safety page.
